Rent starts at $770 per month for a renovated 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment (553 sq ft). The 2-bedroom unit (675 sq ft) is priced at $875 per month. First month free for qualified applicants on available units.
Where exactly is The Atrium located? ▾
The Atrium Apartments is located at 405 Root Ave, Killeen, TX 76541 — in central Killeen, conveniently close to Fort Hood and near a Head Start facility.
Are pets allowed? Any breed restrictions? ▾
Yes — cats and small dogs are welcome. Most units have no breed or weight restrictions. There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee and a $200 refundable pet deposit per pet. A maximum of 2 pets is allowed.
Do you accept Section 8 or housing vouchers? ▾
Yes. The Atrium accepts Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance programs. Please verify eligibility when you contact us.
What appliances are included in the rent? ▾
All units include a stainless steel refrigerator, stove, and microwave — plus an in-unit washer and dryer. All appliances are included in the monthly rent, no extra charge.
Is there a minimum credit score requirement? ▾
No minimum credit score is required. Criminal and credit history are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. MCG Homestead offers second-chance leasing for applicants with a past eviction, broken lease, or less-than-perfect credit.
How do I schedule a tour? ▾

What are the application fees? ▾
The application fee is $55 per adult (non-refundable) plus a $75 one-time administrative fee (non-refundable, not charged per application). Upon approval, deposit and lease signing must be completed within 48 hours to hold the unit.
Are utilities included in the rent? ▾
Electricity needs to be set up by the tenant with your preferred electrical provider. Water, trash, and pest control are billed back to the tenants.
